The XFINITY My Account app provides access to timely account and service information, device status, outage updates and support. This app also offers easy-to-use tools to manage your WiFi settings, troubleshoot common issues, pay your bill--even set up your wireless gateway or X1 set-top box.

Explanation of Android Permissions:
INTERNET: Enables My Account to connect over the Internet to our servers
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Enables My Account to detect whether or not your device is connected
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Enables My Account to cache data
WRITE_CALENDAR, READ_CALENDAR: Enables My Account to create calendar events for service appointments
READ_GSERVICES, GET_ACCOUNTS: Enables My Account to use Google Maps and related services
READ_PHONE_STATE: Enables My Account to associate your Comcast login with your device so you don't have to login each time you open the app
C2D_MESSAGE, RECEIVE, and WAKE_LOCK: Enables My Account to support push notifications
CAMERA, VIBRATE: Enables My Account to support credit card scanning
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_STATE: Check WiFi strength, manage connectivity and troubleshoot

I always have issues with Since I moved from att Uverse. Not great Fan of it and their app is as bad as comcast is will never suggest that

The internet is always down and when I check the status its always saying "all clear" yea right. Troubleshooting doesn't work and the feedback I get is the computer is the problem. Well in that case everyone has a bad computer I guess or comcast just sucks at making sure their customers get the best service.

Please add a restart option for cable boxes as is already present for internet gateway/cable modem. It makes no sense having to unplug boxes if a restart command can be pushed from headend to customer boxes. It would also be nice for app to show signal levels for each service device. Thanks!
